In the front area is the so-called leader, a frame to which the steel driving tube is attached, which is open at the top and bottom.

The Franki pile driver has four winches installed at the top - including three SIKO encoders for position monitoring. "For us, this is a clear competitive advantage to build these machines according to our own ideas, so that we can then also use our own processes for the benefit of our customers," says Stefan Hemmerle.

Afterwards, Franki Germany started to manufacture its own machines such as the Franki pile drivers and, from 2000 onwards, Atlas equipment. Especially in the case of pile-driving equipment, building your own was the best option: until the 1960s, pile-driving equipment could still be purchased in Belgium. "We have our own mechanical engineering department to develop, design, assemble, commission and then use the equipment that is right for us," explains Stefan Hemmerle, head of mechanical engineering at Stump-Franki. Loads of the structure are transferred to deeper layers via the piles. For this purpose, it manufactures its own pile-driving equipment with which foundation piles are produced. The special civil engineering company Stump-Franki makes subsoil load-bearing for heavy structures such as football stadiums, motorway bridges, shopping centres or wind power plants. They are mounted on three cable winches to detect the positions of the respective elements attached to them. In the pile-driving machines of Stump-Franki Spezialtiefbau GmbH, the absolute encoders WV58MR from Siko GmbH, manufacturer of sensors and positioning systems, are part of the safety concept. While this can generate lumbar pain, it can be solved by placing a pillow or a rolled towel under the knees and a low pillow under the neck to maintain the spine’s natural curvature.Heavy machinery in special civil engineering requires precise and reliable components in order to be able to carry out the respective functions in a process-safe manner. This isn’t the right position for people who suffer from apnea or chronic snoring. This will allow the sinuses to drain more easily to the back of the throat. If you have nasal congestion, lie on your back and raise your head and shoulders with 2 pillows.
Those who sleep on their backs can stay away from this possibility. When we constantly rest our face on one side when sleeping and rub the pillow against it, we run the risk of developing wrinkles before it’s considered normal.
With the arms resting on the chest or on both sides of the body, those who lie down this way would be more likely not to change positions during the night or do so less often than those who choose other positions. To avoid this, it’s recommended that, if we adopt this posture, we place a pillow under the legs in order to relieve the pressure in that area. It may generate some discomfort in the hip or lower back.An overly curved body can limit the space for the diaphragm and restrict breathing.During pregnancy, sleeping this way, and on the left side, improves blood circulation to the baby and prevents the uterus from pressing against the liver.By choosing this position, we recreate the natural curve of the spine, so this generates relief from the more rigid and upright positions that we hold in our daily lives.
Like all side positions, it’s best for combating insomnia and achieving continuous sleep.Besides being very comforting, this posture is beneficial in counteracting certain discomforts, but not so beneficial for others. This makes sense if we take into account that it has been chosen by everyone in the mother’s womb. Sleeping on your side with your knees slightly bent toward your chest is one of the most common sleeping positions.
